I always find it exciting to find out about hotels where the rich and famous stay, but some of you have written me that you want to hear about more affordable places so I hope this will help. I often travel on work expenses, but I also enjoy traveling on my own budget. These are my favorite places to visit depending on what continent you are on.
For Europe: Northern France, Belgium, and Luxembourg are the way to go. However, do not think you are cemented in that spot; you can pretty much get anywhere in Europe via a train or inexpensive plane ride. Italy for pasta, Germany for sausage, and England for....mushy peas? I suppose? But seriously, the history in Europe is unparalleled if you’re looking to see the sights on a budget, Northern France!
If you’re going to Asia the Serene Premier Hotel in Hanoi is where you should stay. Going to Asia can be more affordable than other areas in terms of the stay, the food, and the experience. Do not underestimate the experience! Please see the Great Wall!
And finally, for the adventurer...Australia. I know, you think all there is in Australia is the Sydney Opera House. But for the one who likes exotic animals, there’s a great Koala sanctuary, or Torango Zoo. And truly, it won’t kill the bank.
