Some hotels are good for city tours, some are good for family breaks, and some make business travel bliss. I haven’t had the good fortune to stay in all the top rated ones but I can recommend some that I know you’ll love.
Probably the best business hotel I’ve stayed in was the Hyatt Regency Denver At Colorado Convention Center . Which may sound odd to pick a chain, however it is excellent value, high luxury, and very convenient to my business needs in a centrally located area of Denver, which is a terrific city to go to for conventions and other business opportunities. And for some reason their restaurant, the Former Saint Craft Kitchen has some of the best food I’ve ever tasted.
If you ever find yourself in Las Vegas for a convention, I heartily recommend the Bellagio as the optimal business hotel. First, it has beautiful architecture, fountains, a fantastic garden area, and of course plenty of gambling if that’s your interest. The Buffet at the Bellagio is also one of the best in the world, even if it is a little pricy. You can usually get cheaper and still high quality eats for the brunch and lunch times. I also like this hotel because it doesn’t get as rowdy with the young parting crowd, and there are luxury limos out front to take you wherever else in Las Vegas you need to go.
The best hotel in New York’s Manhattan is undeniably the Four Seasons . This is also likely the most expensive on this list. However, if your boss is paying then it’s time to treat yourself. The Four Seasons is perfectly located in Midtown where you’ll never be far from the action. The beautiful stone architecture will mesmerize you and you will really feel like you are a king in one of the largest cities in the world. Stay as high in the tower as they will let you for breathtaking views of the park or cityscapes.
These are just a few of my favorite hotels while I’m traveling the USA while on business, they also would work well for tourists but may be too pricey for family vacations.
